How to take measurements for a Torah сover (Torah mantle)
1. measure the height of the Torah mantle (top to bottom)
The height of the Torah cover must be measured , from the top of the mantle to the of bottom (including the ribbon) but without the fringed (pompoms).
New Torah scroll
For a new Torah scroll the parchment height must be measured, for standard parchment height 19 Inch add 7 Inch. The order form must be changed to parchment height and not mantle height.
Also note the diameter of the parchment.
Very small etz chaim / or old etz chaim
You should add the dimensions of the upper plank.
Width, depth, circle width, and between circles.
