Holidays

Parochets for Jewish holidays, usually in most synagogues around the world all year round a curtain in a dark color such as dark blue or burgundy is used.
But when it comes to the holidays of Tishrei, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, replace the parochets with a parochets in white or cream or any delicate color. This is because it is written in the verse “If your sins be like years as snow will whiten” a white symbolizes atonement.
On the feasts on the holidays will usually appear motifs of verses from the prayer, shofar, tallit, prayer book, and apple in honey.
There are many synagogues that also use the veil of the three rituals, Pesach, Shavuot and Sukkot.
The motifs of the curtains come from the mitzvos of the holiday and their customs. The main motifs are:
In Sukkot: Sukkah, Ushpazin, Lulav, the four species.
On Passover: matzah, wine and four glasses, and a Seder bowl.
In Shavuot: Sefer HaTorah, Mount Sinai.
