What it’s Rabbi kippah? And why is it called so?

This kippah is Named after great rabbis from all over the world would that wear it.
The main reason for the special shape of the kippah is that in the past the rabbis used to wear tefillin all day and when they left the beit midrash they covered the tefillin with the big kippah.
Plus the kippah covers most of the head.
Today, there are not many rabbis who wear this kippah, but there are many rabbis who wear this kippah at home during studies.
This product is now also popular as a Purim costume of a rabbi.
